How to Submit a Maintenance Request Through
“Property Meld”

Step: Register
Your Account

You should have received an email invite from STG Rental Management via Property Meld when you moved in. 
Click the link in that email to create your account and complete the sign-in process.

Step: Submit a
Maintenance Request

Once signed in: 


1. Go to your Property Meld homepage 


2. Click the “+ New MELD” button

3. Fill in the requested details and submit your request

Before You Submit a Request, Please Check the Following:

If Your Air Conditioning Isn’t Working:

  • Make sure the air filter is clean and not restricting airflow.
  • Dirty filters can cause the unit to freeze. Turn off the system if it’s frozen until it defrosts.
  • Keep the thermostat set no lower than 74°F to avoid freezing the system.

If You Have a Water Leak or Flooding:

  • Locate and turn off the water shut-off valve for the affected area.
  • If needed, shut off the main water supply to the home.

If Your Water Heater Isn’t Working:

  • Check the pilot light and relight it if necessary.
  • Confirm that gas or electric utilities are turned on.

If Your Garbage Disposal Isn’t Working:

  • Press the reset button (located underneath the disposal).
  • Use a disposal wrench or Allen key to manually free the blades.
  • Important: Make sure the unit is OFF before doing this.

If There’s a Bad Smell from a Drain:

  • Pour water into all drains (including unused ones like laundry room drains).
  • Dried-out drains can cause sewer or “bad egg” odors.

If you have an urgent issue and can’t log in to Property Meld:

Call our Emergency Hotline: 888-510-6027

  • Stay on the line until a representative answers
  • If no one answers, go back and submit the request through Property Meld when possible
Note: Property Meld is monitored 24/7, and is the best way to communicate maintenance issues quickly.
