How to Submit a Maintenance Request Through 

Property Meld”


  1. Register your account - You should have received an invitation email from STG Rental Management  via Property Meld upon moving in. If not, please contact our Resident Specialist at (435) 375-3464 (text only). By accepting the invitation you will be taken to Property Meld and need to complete the sign-in process.
  2. Submitting a “MELD” - On the home page of your Property Meld account click “+ New MELD” and fill out the requested information.


Please check the following prior to submitting a maintenance request:


  • If your air conditioning is not working: The air filter(s) should be checked and not restricting air flow.  If they are dirty they can cause the system to freeze up and the unit should be turned off until it defrosts as no repairs can be done with a frozen unit. The thermostat should not be set below 74 degrees or this can cause the unit to freeze up. 
  • If you have a water leak or minor flooding: Turn off the water source from the water shut-off valve.  You might have to shut off the water to the entire home.
  • If your water heater is not working: Check the pilot light and relight if needed. Make sure your utilities are on currently.
  • If your garbage disposal is not working: Check underneath the sink for a "reset" button. Use a disposal wrench or allen wrench to twist and unlock the blades. Make sure the disposal is OFF while doing this!
  • If there is a bad smell coming from a drain…first put water down any drain in the home including the drain in the laundry room.  When the drain(s) dry out they can cause a gas or bad egg smell.


If you have an emergency maintenance issue and you are unable to log in to your Property Meld account please call the hotline 888-510-6027. Stay on the line until you are able to talk with a representative or press 9 to complete the online google form through a text message that they will send to your phone. Your request will not be activated until everything is completed with the 24 hour hotline.
